Canadian experience is necessary for all newcomers to be hired in their field of expertise

I completely disagree that Canadian experience is necessary for all newcomers in order to be hired in their field of expertise. First of all, it is not fair because many newcomers are educationally well qualified. In addition, out of necessity the newcomers waste a lot of time working in low-paying jobs unrelated to their field of expertise. This is not really beneficial for the individual or for the economy. Finally, it is inconsistent to ask newcomers to have Canadian experience when they have never been in the country before. In conclusion, the absence of Canadian experience for many newcomers has been an obstacle in their search for Canadian employment. However, these newcomers often do have the necessary skills to do the job and therefore, it would benefit the entire economy for companies to hire these types of employees.
